August 2022 - the last posting here until today! Hard to believe that so much time has elapsed and so many projects have been recorded in the interim. Thanks indeed for stopping by; I hope to get this website back into some sort of shape and get back into updating more regularly, as I did for several years prior to the 'hiatus'!
In a nutshell; regular updates, both here and on my professional Spotlight pages, became unsustainable, as numerous recording projects - audiobooks, audio-dramas and a whole bunch of voice over jobs, completely took over my professional life and whatever 'work-life balance' I had somehow managed to maintain, vanished, as I have effectively been recording seven days a week for months and indeed, years, without pause.
I'm currently taking a little time out to re-calibrate and take back control of work committments, which is whay I now have some time to look again at this web site and assess whether it's actually working properly. For some time, there have been issues relating to various elements of the site not functioning as they did originally and it may be that this particular format will have to be abandoned in favour of either a revised format here or an entirely new website. I'll be talking things over with a professional web site designer next week, so we can hopefully make a bit of progress and get things up and running once again.
As you can imagine, since the last entry here back in August 2022, there have been a great many productions and recordings to mention. Bringing everything up to date could take some time. I had over four years worth of credits to add to Spotlight in order to get it up to date and simply adding dates and titles took a couple of weeks, so to update here, with images, production details and audio clips, could be quite a time consuming undertaking. As I contemplate all that, and as an experiment, I'll attempt to add details of a recent project, along with a concise resume of who I am and what I've been doing. This 'resume' can also be found on my LinkedIn profile.
So fingers crossed and here goes:
Hand of Abaddon
Book 8 in the Dawn of Fire Series
As the Indomitus Crusade rages on, Inquisitor Rostov discovers vital intelligence that could reveal the plan of the notorious Hand of Abaddon, and hastily gathers together those loyal to his cause.
Defending the Anaxian Line, Ultramarines Lieutenant Ferren Areios uncovers a dread vision that has ties to the mission of an old ally. Meanwhile, Magda Kesh campaigns alongside the 84th Mordian. Though she refutes her fate as something more than a mere soldier, is she truly touched by the Emperor?
Despite a fractious alliance, the Hand’s scheme is reaching culmination. Amidst the infighting, Tharador Yheng yearns to be free of her master Tenebrus’ shadow and claim her destiny. But another acolyte has embarked on his own path, the Red Corsair Graeyl Herek. Both vie for the favour of the Dark Gods, and the means to harness an ancient evil that could reshape the war between the Imperium and Chaos.
